Fontaines D.C. Biography
Fontaines D.C. are an Irish rock band whose post-punk sound combines driving rhythms, vivid songwriting, and the distinctive vocals of frontman Grian Chatten. The band emerged from Dublin's independent music scene and built an international following with albums including Dogrel, A Hero's Death, and Skinty Fia. Their songs “Boys in the Better Land,” “Big,” and “I Love You” are among the best-known introductions to their catalog.
On October 13, 2027, Fontaines D.C. are scheduled to bring their Alternative sound to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, for a Concerts event. The venue's dramatic sandstone formations provide a striking setting for live music, with the Denver metropolitan area nearby for visitors making a night of the show. Tour details and opening acts have not been provided, so check the event listing for updates. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs varying by seat and availability.
Venue and Seating Information
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air venue set among Colorado's distinctive red sandstone formations. Its natural surroundings and elevated setting make the concert experience notably different from an indoor arena. Because seating locations and sightlines can vary across the amphitheatre, review the event's seating map before selecting tickets.
The venue's tiered layout offers views toward the stage from multiple levels, while proximity and perspective depend on the specific seat. Consider your preferred balance of closeness and overall view when choosing a section, and check the listing for current seating details rather than relying on assumptions about a particular area.
Parking Information
Parking arrangements, access points, and any fees can vary by event. Confirm the latest guidance from the venue or event organizer before traveling; no specific parking provider, address, or price has been confirmed for this date.
- Review official event-day parking instructions and arrive with enough time to follow venue staff directions.
- Consider arranging a rideshare or a designated driver in advance, particularly if traveling from Denver or nearby communities.
